Haldimand County's new web portal is now online. Apply for building permits and planning applications, submit enforcement complaints, check the status of applications, pay fees, and request inspections - all from the comfort of home. No more lineups.

CityView Portal is the first step in Haldimand County's plan to improve its service offerings for citizens.

New Building Code
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has released a new Building Code, effective January 1, 2025. Any building permit applications submitted after January 1st must adhere to the new Building Code. There is a 3 month grace period until March 31, 2025, for certain designs that were already underway in 2024.
